Since the world stopped by the COVID-19, we have had to adapt to a series of changes in the so-called “New Normality”. For this reason, we have implemented New Biosecurity Protocols onboard all our Galapagos Islands cruises.
In this post, we would like to share with you the most important biosecurity measures that you should know before going on a Galapagos cruise 🐢🚢.
BEFORE BOARDING
The use of a face shield or mask 😷✌️ is mandatory at all times, both at the airport, as well as, during and after the flight to the Galapagos Islands.
Remember to carry all the necessary documents (identification document if you are Ecuadorian or passport if you are a foreigner, cash, credit card, among other documents) so that your trip to the “Enchanted Islands” is the best experience of your life.
Below, you can find the current requirements to enter the Islands 🛬🏝️🐢.

ARRIVAL TO GALAPAGOS
Upon arrival in Galapagos, you will be received by our crew members, who will take care of your luggage, and its disinfection. Later, all passengers will be transferred to the boarding dock.
Once at the boarding dock, the transfer to our boats will be in small groups of up to 4 people.
BOARDING
When boarding to our boats, the Galapagos Naturalist Guide 🤠✌️ will manage the group explaining the biosecurity rules on board and for the different activities.
For more details, we show you the following video that you can watch our biosafety protocols, which have been carefully designed to provide you with a safe experience.
In addition, thanks to our responsibility and perseverance, the World Travel & Tourism Council has granted us the “Safe Travels” stamp, which endorses us and does not allow us to provide a safe and excellent service, complying with the highest quality and safety standards.
What are you waiting for to visit this wonderful place? Galapagos awaits you …
It is inevitable not to get excited 🥳 when we inviting you to visit the most famous archipelago in the world, which you can travel safely, on one of the best available cruises or even on an island-hooping tour.
